Elisabeth Hansa

Elisabeth is an accomplished managing director specialising in marketing and business development of global sales with over 20 years of experience impacting major convention corporations through orchestration of sales and acquisitions, public relations, and high-quality convention and event management. She has extensive experience as advisor for start ups of convention bureaus and convention centres.

Until June 2012 she worked as managing director of MARIAZELLER EUROPEUM GMBH, Mariazell/Styria, Austria, a multipurpose convention centre for various events of up to 600 people.

Before that she was a director of marketing and sales for conventions and business events for MESSE CONGRESS GRAZ, a group of 7 companies providing various sporting and international events and convention centres, with 175 employees.

She worked at the ORF, the Austrian broadcasting corporation and volunteered on the boards of various professional associations like MPI, AIPC and ECM.

Since 2009 she also teaches at MODUL UNIVERSITY, Vienna, Austria and  IMC UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCES, Krems.

Garry White

Chief Executive Officer of European Cities Marketing

Garry White joined European Cities Marketing (ECM) as CEO in March 2012 after a long international career with national tourist board Visit Britain. Over the past 25 years he has held senior international management positions based in New York/Frankfurt/Berlin/Oslo/Stockholm/Moscow/Singapore/Lyon and has worked at the national, regional and city level.

He was General Manager for Visit Britain Operations in Europe before moving to Asia to become Director for Visit Britain - Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa, managing 12 countries in the region including China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, South Korea and Australasia. Garry was visiting professor to the tourism department of Strathclyde University for 15 years and has been a keynote speaker at various international tourism conferences, specializing in city marketing, Asia and global competitiveness.  He is currently compiling a book on international city marketing.



Nick Greenfield

Nick graduated in Modern Languages and European Studies from the Universities of Bath and Siena in 1995 and immediately set off on a career in travel. He worked for a year in the US in the educational market and also started guiding groups in Europe, something he still does from time to time, having now worked in over 20 countries.“To really know the travel industry, you need to experience it first-hand”, he says.

He ran the London office of the National Educational Travel Council, hiring and training guides as well as running operations and contracting. Nick had attended ETOA’s workshops and seminars as an operator for many years when he finally accepted a full-time position at the association in 2009.

In his role at ETOA, Nick deals above all with the various tour operator members of ETOA. He covers many areas: organising commercial workshops; responding to members’ queries; lobbying politicians on issues at a local, national and European level; and writing articles on travel and tourism.

Current themes and policy areas include visas, emerging markets, group tourism and guiding.
Nick lives in Highbury, London, is a passionate Arsenal supporter and speaks seven languages.


Vasyl Kosiv

Vasyl Kosiv has accomplished his education at Lviv Academy of Arts majoring in Interior Design. Afterwards he defended his PhD Thesis in Kharkiv Academy of Design and Arts.

Starting from 1998 he worked in Lviv National Academy of Arts as an assistant, lecturer, chairman of Graphic Design Department at the same academy.

Between August 2003 and July 2004 he had an internship in the US in frames of “Art Management” programme. He delivered the lectures in Kansas State University and worked in National Design Museum in New York.

Since 2006 he has been Deputy  Mayor for Humanitarian Affairs in Lviv City Council.

Founder of the Annual “Win with the Lion” Lviv Tourism Forum


Oksana Sydor accomplished her higher education at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (Ukraine), majoring in Economic Analysis and Finance in the International Relations Faculty. She gained a Diploma with Honours receiving the MA in International Economic Relations title.

During the period September 2009 - October 2011 Oksana studied MBA in Tourism Management at MODUL University Vienna, Austria, being granted the Vienna Tourist Board Scholarship.

Starting from January 2009 till August 2010 Oksana Sydor occupied the position of Head of the Tourism and Recreation Bureau, Office for Culture and Tourism in Lviv City Council. After the department restructurisation she worked as Head of the Tourism Office, “EURO 2012” Department in Lviv City Council. Oksana took part in the tourism and marketing strategy development (Economic Development and Increasing Lviv City Competitiveness to 2015 Program) as well as in Tourist information infrastructure development (EU city signing project: TIC development). At her position she was responsible for internal and external partnerships’ consolidation supporting the development of the tourism sphere in Lviv (Lviv’s membership in the European Cities Marketing); Tourism Cluster Group activities coordination (TCG – private and public sectors representatives); Projects Coorditation (Lviv at ITB 2010, ITB 2011).



Nadiya Radionenko

Nadiya graduated from the International Relations Department at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (Ukraine) majoring in International economic analysis and finance.

During the period of June 2005 – December 2007 Nadiya occupied Regional marketing manager position at  “LG Electronics” Regional marketing centre in Lviv.

Stating from December 2007 until August 2009 she was enrolled in Platinum Bank PJSC Regional office in Lviv as a regional training manager.
In August 2009 Ms. Radionenko changed her working place to the Head Office of Volksbank PJSC in Lviv, occupying firstly Business coach and then Loan underwriting specialist (Credit analyst) position.

In the summer 2011 Nadiya took a position of Managing Director at Lviv Tourism Development Centre, Municipal enterprise.  In October 2012 she was promoted to Head of Tourism Office in Lviv City Council.

From 2007 till 2010 has worked as the Head of the Culture and Tourism Office in Lviv City Council. During his administration Lviv has gained the status of the Cultural Capital of Ukraine, has become the member of the European City Marketing, more than 100 festivals are being organized in Lviv, Tourist Information Center  was established.

From August 2010  - the President of the NGO “Etnovyr”, which is the founder of the “Win with the Lion” Tourism Forum.
